As discussed in class today, this week you will need to begin work on your informative paper. You should begin your preliminary research, pick and narrow down your thesis statement and start to look for credible sources. By class on Thursday 3/20 you should have a good idea of what your topic/thesis statement is going to be. I will be making a note of these after class. Complete the attached table and submit to this link before you come to class on Thursday 3/20. You also need to have one CREDIBLE substantial source to use for a class activity on Thursday.

Read Chapter 10 (specifically sections 10.4 and 10.7) in your Advanced Professional Communication textbook Links to an external site.
You should have a general idea of what topic you will be using for your upcoming informative paper.
Using the attached Word doc and the information from your text, create a Plan for Sources for your research. The table can be found in Chapter 10.7 as well.
Begin the initial research process by developing your thesis statement. Spend the week looking for credible research you can use for your upcoming informative paper.
Submit your Plan for Sources to this link by before class on THURSDAY, MARCH 20.
On Thursday, you will need to have at least one source ready to use in class. We will be doing an activity with the source - so do not come empty handed!
